Creating a content strategy roadmap bingo card

Last year I sat down and diagrammed Kristina Halvorson’s new content strategy quad blog post to create my own concept map/road map for what my organization might need from a content strategy perspective.

I broke down each part of her post into sections of the diagram, and made a box for each of her bullet points. I ended up with a big org-chart-looking thing that I affectionally started referring to as my “bingo card.”

Here’s what it looks like:

That’s a bit much, so I tried to simplify it a bit by removing the boxes under Content Design and Systems Design. Now it looks a little cleaner:

It also gives me specific deliverables and artifacts to work on while we build out the strategy roadmap and try to get everyone on the same page.
